Vintage Culture is an American indie rock band, with origins in Seattle, Washington founded in 2003. For the past eighteen years, their live performances and vivid storytelling have captivated and intrigued their listeners.

Formation

When they first started out, the band included founding members, singer/songwriter Joe Smith and drummer Pete Johnson. The two brought a wealth of experience to the band, having previously worked together in a previous band.

Band History

In 2006, the band released their debut album, Vintage Culture, to critical acclaim. The album showcased the band's unique blend of progressive rock and melodic overtones. Following their debut release, they toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. During their tour, the band was invited to headline festivals such as the South by Southwest festival and the Jam in the Park festival in London. In 2008, the band released their second album, The Path, and made the addition of bassist and backing vocals, Tim Murray. The band has also welcomed the addition of keyboardist and guitarist, Kenny Symonds, in 2014. The current lineup of Vintage Culture includes Joe Smith on vocals, Pete Johnson on drums, Tim Murray on bass and guitar, and Kenny Symonds on keyboards.
