Two Door Cinema Club is an indie rock and electronic indie pop band from Northern Ireland that formed in 2007. The band consists of Alex Trimble (vocals, rhythm guitar, beat programming), Kevin Baird (bass, vocals, keyboards, and guitar), and Sam Halliday (lead guitar, and vocals). Band History & Origin

Two Door Cinema Club are a three-piece rock band originating from Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. The band formed in the summer of 2007 and were initially signed to the Kitsuné record label, joining with French producer Philippe Zdar of Cassius. After the success of their debut single "Something Good Can Work", the band were signed to Glassnote Records in the United States.

The band first burst onto the scene in 2010 with their debut album "Tourist History". Since then they have released several albums: "Beacon" (2012), "Gameshow" (2016) and "False Alarm" (2019). The band has consistently managed to blend an eclectic mix of guitar-driven indie, electronica and undertones of funk. They have continued to push musical boundaries and explore new sounds, taking the traditional sample-based approach to synth-pop and adding a unique lo-fi sonic character.
