Leon Bridges is an American singer-songwriter from Fort Worth, Texas who gains increasing attention for his catchy songs and heartfelt lyrics. His signature style of country and R&B music combined with gospel influences sets Leon apart from other artists and enables him to enchant crowds at his live shows.
The North Texas native began singing R&B songs in his room as a teenager and eventually began performing in gospel choirs. Through performing and songwriting, Leon developed his trademark style. In 2014, he released his debut EP, ‘Coming Home’, which garnered instant attention and marked the beginnings of his musical career.
Soon after, he released his first album ‘Good Thing’, with his signature stories and heartfelt lyrics. His sound has earned him two Grammy Award nominations, including 'Best Americana Album' for his 2019 record ‘Good Thing’, along with ‘Best American Roots Performance’ for his single ‘How Beautiful Is The Rain’.
