Originally created in 2011 as the musical project of Dan Griffith, Gryffin has managed to quickly become one of the most noted and established artists of the music scene today. Hailing from the Bay Area, California, the individual producer has released multiple singles working collaboratively with some of the biggest names in popular music.
Gryffin started his successes as a DJ early in 2017 with his very first single, “Heading Home”, that featured Josef Salvat. Quickly after, the producer followed up with the subsequent releases of "Feel Good" and "Whole Heart". “Feel Good” was a collaboration with him and Illenium and Rikikon, and it was featured on the Billboard Dance Charts. The quick successes of his single caught the eyes of record labels Atlantic Records and Darkroom and he released also a rework of “Nobody Compares To You”, a track originally from Katie Pearl and the Likes of Us.
The project is currently under the music of Dan Griffith, while earlier the project was accompanied by the likes of Nikita Robinson, Juliejane, Mike Ferguson and Dean Anthony.
Gryffin is often named in equality with popular artists such as Illenium and Madeon, and his sound could be also compared to Louis The Child, Alan Walker and Galantis.
Worth noting singles from the artist include “Tie Me Down” featuring collaborative work with Elley Duhe, that achieved multiple streams, “Nobody Compares to You”, “Remedy” with Zohara and “Feel Good” with Illenium.
If you're seeking for music that could blend the progressive, electropop and the future bass genres, Gryffin is certainly a must-listen. His unique and spectacular sound has made him a prominent figure in the music scene and an artist to be witnessed in 2021 and many years to come.
