Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, DJ Diamond Kuts discovered her love of music and mixing early, often playing DJ sets at school events and regional mix-off competitions. Starting off utilizing primarily vinyl, tapes and record players, she quickly found success and recognition in the underground and college hip-hop scene.

By the mid-2000s, Kuts had secured a residency at Philadelphia’s Hot 107.9 for the Famous Fixxx Show, making her the first female DJ ever to hold a regular on-air spot at the station. She has since collaborated and toured with some of the biggest names in rap, including JAY-Z, Nicki Minaj, and Akon.
