Disturbed is an American heavy metal band that was formed in 1994 in Chicago, Illinois. Primarily influenced by heavy metal peers, Disturbed came together to blend their individual styles of hard rock and heavy metal with a punk, post-grunge and industrial sound. Consisting of four long-time band members, vocalist David Draiman, bassist John Moyer, rhythm guitarist Dan Donegan and drummer Mike Wengren.
The band's earliest albums, “The Sickness” and “Believe” were both intensely praised around the world, specifically in the metal scene for their distinct sound and look. Since then, as the first true metal band to make it on mainstream radio, Disturbed has released 5 additional albums, gone on multiple international tours, won numerous awards and gained a large, devoted fan-base.
