Chevelle is an American rock band from Grayslake, Illinois, formed in 1995 by brothers Pete Loeffler (guitar, lead vocals), Sam Loeffler (drums, percussion), and Joe Loeffler (bass, backing vocals). Since their 1994 inception, the trio has gone on to become one of the most iconic and successful rock groups of the 21st century.
Chevelle have been rock staples since their Grammy-nominated debut album, Point #1, which featured the RIAA platinum-certified single "The Red" and the Top 10 smash hit "Send the Pain Below".
The band released their follow-up record, Wonder What's Next, to great commercial success in 2002, spawning four hit songs: "Hats Off to the Bull", "Vitamin R", "The Clincher", and "The Ground Shakes".
Chevelle have since followed up with eight studio albums, fourteen charting singles, nine US tours, and worldwide album sales over 4-million.
Chevelle currently consists of brothers Pete, Sam, and Joe Loeffler.
Alongside the core trio are several touring musicians, including rhythm guitarist Louis Cato and keyboardist Mark Stefan.
